DefinedA Poem by diggydigsA revivalSome other time ago, I had faith in this world Stupefying and bewildering, I stopped, some man told me, "I am a Christian" He said he has none but faith Yet, he judged me A devout man bowed and greeted, he told me, "I am a Muslim" He declared God and had none but faith Yet, he raised his voice at me He told me he could do all things with the strength of his shoulders He told me "I am a man" Yet, he just brought me down Far away, I saw rallies bigger than waves "I am a Democrat", "I am a Republican", some declared, power it seems Yet, nothing is still fixed I had a conversation with a man once, he told me he was smart He said "I have a PhD" Yet, he had no job Sometime today, I was eating at a restaurant The cook told me, "I am talented: Yet, I think the steak is bland Four days after, I was walking downtown, I saw an artist He said, "I am pathetic" Yet, his art work beamed more than the billboards across I pondered, All these labels, Except the word, "Human" Now, I wonder Is it too much if I am human?
