A Villain

Who's your villain?

Who will be the villain when I'm alone?
I guess you could say I like being by myself,
But who will be the villain if it's just me?
A narcissistic loner with psychopathic tendencies,
Addicted to the lows
Because that's all I know.
Never been good with highs,
Prescription pills can testify.
In looking closer I found a villain in myself.
There I was all along,
Playing puppet master as I pulled my own strings.
The fault is mine and mine alone,
For I opened my eyes to see a villain looking right back.
