She Is Everything

It's funny how the darkest of situations make the brightest pieces of literature.

She has my heart in the palm of her hands.
For her, I'd walk through the endless hot sands.
Just to show her how much I truly care.
Destined for each other, we were to pair.

She takes me to a place no one else can.
Not being with you was never the plan.
I'll always remember the time we spent.
Spoken or not, the words I said I meant.

My dreams are where I can always see you.
Thinking of what we had is hard to do.
For you, a special place I'll always hold.
The words I said and the ones never told.

To me you are everything, my world.
We once danced all night, back and forth we twirled.
The scars that you left me with still burn bright.
A chance is all I need to make it right.

Some call it an obsession, but wouldn't you say love is just that?

Love could be called an obsession for sure, and seems that's how you see and feel it; your poem is full of regretful passion, '.. For you, a special place I'll always hold.~ The words I said and the ones never told.'

However, the impression i get is that you're ready to temper it a little, return to a calm, warm, wonderful emotion, find a way back to someone you truly love.
