Flickering walls

Flickering walls

A Poem by Gerhardus Retief

Serenity is an aspect for hollow characters with flickering feelings.
The concrete is the inspiration of the paint itself.
Wandering souls in front and in the back on either side.
Cant find each other no glyphic signal to give to one another.

Just shut myself in between all the fours just whisper to the walls to not let me go.
They wont let me die not let me cry just don't let me out if its so easy to keep your hold.
I can hear them whisper their hypnotic song toward my last sign of hope.

Why do our eyes dart around under our eyelids when we are asleep?
Searching for answers while the body is swept into shadow.
For saving the currency of our unrecognizable owners.
There can simply be no matter at hand when there is no flickering lights to be seen.

Now when they are about to take the color out of the rapid flickers.
Have you, have them, have everyone not to twitch in recognition ever again.
Get to the point to the corner to the slide show of every shape and fall in with the rest of the players.
Slavery is just another encumbered creation of flickering walls.
