jump

moving on from forever promised
leaving the comfort; looking for bliss
hiding scars behind coy smiles
never believing its worth while
with eyes closed and pounding heart
i leap from the cliff for my journey to start
its a long way down- i've changed my mind
what i'd give for time to rewind
to undo decisions not mine to make
to be where i was; not falling and safe
