Two PairA Poem by Debbie BarryJust a little rhyme that wandered into my head. Two Pair
Sarah and Susan were sisters; Ev‘rything did they share; Johnny and Jacky were misters With not a coin to spare.
Sarah and Johnny were married; To ask, Jacky did dare; The minister never tarried; Jack’s ring soon Sue did wear.
Sarah and Johnny were happy; With babes they were well blest; Susan and Jack weren’t so happy: They’d no parenting zest.
Sarah and Susan were sisters, Who liv’d contented lives; Johnny and Jacky were misters, Blest with wonderful wives. © 2018 Debbie BarryAuthor's Note
