If minutes could be recycled

If minutes could be recycled

A Poem by Jimmy Crapped Corn
"

"
If minutes could be recycled,
and used over again,
I'd find a way to be a banker,
and only to you would I lend.

If hours could be washed,
and hung out to dry
I would be your clothespins
Hanging them from the sky.

If days could be worn like jeans,
Worn a second time,
I'd wear them all with you,
Until they looked slick and shined.

Me too my friend.
"If days could be worn like jeans,
Worn a second time,
I'd wear them all with you,
Until they looked slick and shined."
I was a soldier and I lost people when I was deployed. A hard pain to grasp. Were my last words kind and did I tell them, I loved them? Powerful and worthwhile poetry.
