Paper ShipsA Poem by Jimmy Crapped CornWe made our Paper ships, to navigate without an ocean breeze. They floated down the hill, in the gutter, clogged, with sticks and leaves. Racing against each other, but really just enjoying the time. Rainy days, spent at home indoors, only left the walls, for us to climb. Down the hill, they tacked and Jibed, riding the waves in the gutter. We would be ,so absorbed in the fun, didn't even see one another. Time spent sailing, in Americas Cup, or maybe a mutiny at sea. bearded pirates, boarding my ship, i can barely contain my glee.
