Truth

Truth

A Poem by D. Mansfield

Truth will be told, truth will be known,
Down its ancient path you will be shown
You will have some turns along the way,
Yes it "counts" what you say.

Searching for truth is like charming a snake
Twisting and turning you design your fate..
Was it important? Did you really want to know?
Or did you want to be the star of the show

Now your a star, but the truth was fake
They look at you funny as you put it in a safe.
Bending reality to fit your truth
Makes no sense, cutting a tree by the root.

You enjoy your truth! I will enjoy my prime.
The rest is a holocaust nursery rhyme.

A sharp little piece about truth-bending under ego.
