Shared Space

A poem about my 7 year old son and his attempts to get close to his father.

To my seven year old son

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adorable as much as he is innocent
Bonding through being in such close proximity
Closeness his way of reaching out to his Father
Dependent as any child is
Ever so slightly he shuffles towards me
Father and son silently cherishing the same space.
