watching

what happened one night...

Watching his eyes in the rearview mirror
Remembering how I always look away first
Scared that he can read my thoughts.
We spent a half hour (at least)
And he looked me in the eye the whole while
Where as I had to look away.
But seeing his eyes in the mirror
I want to just watch him while he dries
But he glances up and our eyes are seeing each other
And again I look away
And out of the corner of my eye
I see him look back and watch me for a second.

good. i don't really know what to say about this, there's not really any advice or criticism i can give you. sorry. but i really like it. the fact that the guy looked back even for just that one second shows how much he likes and cares about the girl. well at least to me.
