morning slumber

something i just randomly spit out while sitting next to the heater... thoughts?

The paper turn is loud in the silent house
there's no sound but that of the clock ticking our lives away.
The quiet is not uncomfortable
its that of a peaceful slumbering morning
when you lay warm and content
beneith warm blankets.
When you roll over and close your eyes
slipping back intot he arms of drousiness
ready with a smile to hold you close
and protect you while you doze.
