living in a box

living in a box

A Poem by Lottie

What would your box say about you?
Does it imagine a better life for you too?
Life of four corners and its lid keeps me safe.
Does its contents haunt or keep my faith?
I bought a new box today and found it empty.
Then I looked outside the box and found a world of plenty.

I have to agree with M Slaughter, most people are to busy to notice what is going on around them, nice write.

Ahhh ignorance. It's amazing how many people choose not to look outside their own little box, isn't it?
