Nobleman's Speech Part 1A Poem by DozzerCalling out to a love that is deaf.I miss you, The way your soul projects it's light. The way you laugh. I miss your eyes, your smile. I feel an emptyness without you. Lost in the workerless construction area that you have left me in. Built by the greatest minds and then left. Why have you forsaken me, the angel who lifted me from the darkest depths? Was this all but a cruel fate? Was this just another ploy from the karma gods? Did our engagement ever have meaning? I know you're life is chaotic and I know you are scared to reach out, but princess of the night, I make one solid request: Take my hand, for you shall never have to walk alone. Embrace my touch; our fingertips rejoice. Allow me to be your armor. Let me be your shield. Let me take away the pain you feel. I shall be your light, to lead you through the darkest nights. The only thing you must do, however hard it may appear to be, is let me. I have fought several battles. I am an aged warrior of love. Me and my trusty steed are ready, at your command princess, to batten down the gates to your heart, and protect you. The only repayment we ask, is proper room and board. © 2008 DozzerAuthor's Note
