Stagnation

Stagnation

A Poem by Diana

The streams have run stagnant.
The air is still
and chills to the bones.

You fought for so long
until your little body hit over-drive.
And you function on repeat.
Repeat, repeat, repeat.

Too numb to seek
Too blind to see.
One thing, I know.
We shall not meet again.
