Don’t Need Much

I don’t need much for happiness

A woman, preferably my wife,

who will push back when I get pushy

Who will let me be a man while she

demands that I also be a woman

Who will play with

my body,

my mind,

my spirit

I don’t need much for happiness

A friend or two or maybe three

they can be either male or female

who I can share everything with

Who will laugh and cry

at me

with me

for me

I don’t need much for happiness

A limited set of ideals

that are consistent with each other

and support a poet

not a politician

That guide

my hopes

my fears

my life

Very straight forward poem, I love the format! The title ties in nicely with the rest of the poem, where you only ask for three things from each category you've created. Great job!
