They said you over-watered the flowers
they died
and when that wasn’t true
they said you didn't guard them so well
they died
either way the flowers died
and it's you to blame
so why are you still explaining yourself?
and why is it so hard to let go?
think my friend
think about the flowers and how they were meant to die
but it's not you to blame
