Aphorisms by DrockA Poem by DoreenA category for aphorisms doesn't exist....![]() The hypocrite who seeks vengeance for the sake of
gratification, with no regard for the lives crushed, who seeks that which is
not wanted - is a very lost soul. One who sees people as having to
be infallible; every action as a sharpened sword, is one that will wither,
become cold, bitter and incapable of letting in love. To have the willingness and ability to look upon,
and judge ourselves as harshly as we do others, is in itself, invaluable, empowering
and enlightening. When flying by the seat of your
pants, it's a good idea to wear suspenders. I think I'll adhere spikes and studs to my butt so that everywhere I go, I'll leave an impression. When we give birth to writing, we're too close to it emotionally; we can't see the forest for the trees. The
job you have or the amount of money you make does not define who you are. It's
what's in your heart and who you are inside that does. © 2010 DoreenAuthor's Note
