Is it true? [11-5-08]

I was asked to write a poem to myself.. and refused. 2 hrs later.. I wrote this.

You're beautiful
You're wonderful
Is it true?

What a mouthful.
Bite your tongue, you know it's true
You're so mean, why don't you love you?
Look in the mirror, see the beauty
I open my eyes, just to see bleeding. 
Bleeding on the inside
Smiling on the out
Failure, unforgiving
What was that about?
Loving, truthful
Honestly, I'm real
I look back in my eyes
Just to see the pain I feel.
Try again
"You're so great!"
Shut up, you're pitiful
Why are you so fake?
Open up my eyes to me
I must believe I'm great
But I could only hope to be
Half more beauty than self-hate.
