Stop Cyber Bullying

Stop Cyber Bullying

A Poem by h d e rushin

I have a friend, let's call her Jill.

This past Saturday Jill had her testicles removed

to become more of what Jill calls perfect.

I looked up the word perfect:

There was no mention in Webster's of perpetuity

but there was an oft mention of abstract concepts;

an intimation to the satisfying of all requirements.

Let us thank Jill for the unmitigated, faithfulness

of her poem.

Wouldn't the concept of perfection vary from person to person? It must have taken Jill loads of courage to acquire her notion of the perfect self. There is nothing wrong in wanting to be perfect, to be a better version of yourself, provided you do it without chopping down others.

On a different note: Our world is often hypocritical- it tells us to follow our heart, to speak out our minds. But it will shoot us down for doing exactly that. I hope Jill is happy with her acquired closeness to perfection than the others around her.

perfection is definitely a concept,
like deforestation is in eye of the beholder...great piece

perfect really is an abstract concept...and it is different in the eyes of each individual...i myself am just fine with flaws, in me and others....because that is real...and to me, real perfect.
