That Hard Blues That Jangles.

That Hard Blues That Jangles.

A Poem by h d e rushin
"

notes to get me thru the day.

"

So you get onto an elevator

with the belt that's too loose

and it jangles.

"Love that will aye endure"

and the unwieldiness of the love part

jangles.

But you're an American

and the dog you have, and

chose not to eat, races to

the end of his chain

but before he's reminded of

life's sensitivity; how wrong and awful

choking is, the fence that

appears in his heavenly

dream

jangles.

I have to admire the person who's belt is too loose, that is a jingle my old blues loving ears would love to hear. And that dog chain, ringing in my ear all day long. The master always reminding me there is enough slack to breath, but only if i stay close to home. Enjoy the still life of the mountains from your bowl of cereal.

Ha ha ha...so true in your tugging at the strings for the true meaning mastery and by how long do these lengths go by way of getting snagged on loop holes in freedom as a just a wandering thought..after a long walk on the wild side..superb piece

I love this one, poetry is the music that soothes a savage beast, sometimes it chokes you, sometimes it chokes you up and in the back of your mind a charm bracelet full of shiny silver hearts..jangles.

i like that dog you chose not to eat...but there still are those chains, and they jangle...life kind of has us on that up and down elevator ride...and we are trapped between floors.

maybe if we all jump up at the same time, the elevator will think it is empty and open its doors to a new world of love and peace.
