Love intently

Love is a fire once ignited can create beauty divine.....

Soft hazel gaze, I melt, heart racing, pounding a mile a minute.

 

Rose lips smile, invite, I stir,

mindful thoughts, future desired.

 

Desires build, overwhelm, all it took was her face. 

 

Alabaster silk skins touch,

fire ignited, passion’s furnace blazes to life fashioning,

courage, ambition, longing, hunger for more,

for embrace, for two souls untied.

 

I want to know her more,

to learn her hearts language and speak it fluently,

take me to your country. 

 

We shall learn of love together.

I wanted to instead of lamenting the lack of love, fully embrace the romance of love...

superbly written. the fourth stanza was an absolute slapper, i read it over a few times.
i also appreciate your philosophy. embracing romance, it's simplicity and its cheekiness. i feel this sentiment is dying out in our hookup culture. incidentally, i'm also working on love poems along the same lieu, which i'll share soon. perhaps together we can revive the shamelessly warm and fuzzy type of love poetry.
