Can you endure while you wait for love....

Love in all forms, shape the views that I see, 

whether Eros lusty desires or Agapes' purity, 

Ludus plays with the heart, Pragma endures to the end

Philia feels brotherly, Manias' sick in the head

Each type I have met, each love felt so new

I still don't understand, how I feel about you.

With my mind swimming fast, emotions run hot,

try to make sense, of what is true, what is not.

I filter out false, let time tell the story

patient I wait, hoping you wont ignore me

Infatuation is a false story people invent in their heads. They imagine a perfect person in agreement with their values and likes. But this is not reality. To let a relationship grow like a flower is the best way to proceed. That can be really hard to do. But often it's the best approach.

You wrote this really good because it portrays all the facets a person can go through including the doubt that creeps in.

It can be exhausting, this lifelong curriculum of love. I suspect that if we were trained to pace ourselves and move with prudence in our daily love encounters we shall cover the distance well and grown and share in love.

Thank you for the review. I wanted to writing on the types of love as personalities but this is what came to me, something simple I think.

a very strong image is created. i can see this image of somebody sitting alone reflecting on his thoughts. and i hear the persona's voice as he tries to make sense of complicated worlds: the internal and external.
love all these couplets. the rhyming scheme adds an extra layer of sentimentality.
