Musik......

The power of music should not be underestimated.........

I am carried in the moment, 

this melodic meditation, 

these rhythmic thrums entrancing me. 

Words moving my heart, 

the past revisited, 

remembered, romanced, 

and reminisced.  

Only a moment, 

all pain forgotten, 

this time of beautiful sounds,

 that feed my ears. 

I long for my youth, 

long for her face, 

long for a summer, 

long for an image, 

imagined by an artist's pain created.  

Sadness as we reach the end,  

my hearts chords resonate, 

with a strangers life, 

I am touched.
