Moving On......

I am going to try to move on and not return......

I think I'll move on, 

from this place  familiar, 

once again visited, 

swore I'd never return. 

I think I'll move on, 

from sadness felt here, 

just over the rise, 

moving toward the future.

I think I'll move on, 

from this life of a rut, 

I'm pressing on forward, 

depressions door shut.

I think I'll move on, 

from  thoughts so negative, 

practice thanks giving, 

a new life will I live
