Dandelion

It's in the eye of the beholder......

Bright yellow sun kissed smile, 

some say a weed, 

I say beauty of petals golden. 

Born of a child's wish, 

spread throughout my spring garden.

Dandelions are Mother Nature's flowers, sown by her, not the hand of man. They have healing properties and were used for that in olden times. The leaves are used to stimulate the appetite and help digestion. Dandelion flower has antioxidant properties. Dandelion may also help improve the immune system. It's botanical name is Taraxacum.
