Revelations light

Sometimes it's a word spoken that calms the storm....

Revelations light shines into darkness's heart, 

chambers unseen, shadows flee.  

Truth's shackles smashed. 

Freedom of words, 

tongue loosed, 

expressions wings unfurled for flight. 

Fear retreats into the shrinking void, 

hope reins on compassion throne.  

The raging torrent of doubt, 

is assuaged by faiths gentle touch.  

Tides now placid, 

soothe the troubled mind, 

from portents of terrors not yet realized.
