A Bold Happiness

Sometimes it gets tiring of always being sad......

Happiness breaks 

as the light of a new day dawns 

Let joy pierce the darkness and gathering gloom 

No longer will I be led by whims of fancy

 these tempestuous winds of the heart 

I have found my foundation 

my anchor is secure

Though the world rage and roar 

I will be still knowing I shall not be moved 

this moment of peace shall sustain me 

boldly I proclaim a liberty within  

Freedom to smile  

Freedom, to laugh  

Freedom from fear's shadows 

I will grin in the face of doubt 

I will turn my back on the past, 

no longer will mistakes hold me captive 

the future is my companion 

I am excited to see what it holds...
