It's really hard to let it go.......

can you help me out

where I can get rid of this weight

I'll wait..........

the kind that drags

that pulls

that keeps the past relevant

that from the present I am absent

I have carried it much too long

so please tell me how to let it go

my arms tire

my eyes are heavy

yet ironically

sleep is far from me

seems it requires all my attention 

so please help a guy out

tell me where I can leave this burden........

I was signing out and saw this. I have some good advice on sleep deprivation. Don't chase sleep. Let sleep come to you. Then don't fight it. I hope only good things for you, poet extraordinaire.
