Your heart is a puzzle

I am perplexed 

 

I am still trying to understand your language 

Not even the Rosetta Stone could help me decipher your cryptic signs

 

I profess my desire for the deeper knowledge of who you are

I am your student

teach me

 

I am hungry for your ways

tell me of your storms

tell me of your pain

tell me of your mind

let me study you

 

what will it take to reach your inner being

there is hunger beyond what the flesh can understand

 

my eternal spark's desires for completion

resonates when I am in your presence

in your eyes sometimes I believe you long for it too

then the moment passes

and I no longer understand your song
