A Feast of words

A Feast of words

A Poem by Dave W.
"

Its good to read things that speak into your heart

"

Let the day,  break forth

for the night is far spent

let radiance guide the way

through the blackest veil

let hope slay

all minions of despair

let the battle within

find its peaceful conclusion

let the words of hope

sustain the starving heart

let compassion's waters

quicken a desert of want

let the sole of your foot

cease it aimlessness

let the soul of your body

cease it wondering

come to an oasis of refreshment

let your ears feast

on nature’s harmony,

let your eyes delight

in heavens majesty

let your mind be soothed

from emotions scorching flames

you are loved

you have purpose

you are needed

you will make it
