I want to go home.......

a smile that welcomes

or words that sooth 

Home is the safe harbor from the storm 

it's the loving arms that cradle a new born 

Home is the friend that listens 

who sits in silence as the tears flow 

Home is the place 

where the heart resides 

Home is the light 

in the darkness 

Home is the song that 

reminds of better times 

Home is the love thats shared 

when life has taken so much 

Home is a mothers kiss on the cheek 

I long for the distant land of home 

I hunger for that familiar smile 

Eargerly I wait to see its golden shores

east winds blown 

and weariness no more
