Hums of Happiness

Hums of Happiness

A Poem by Dave W.
"

I found a freedom in this poem, to be free from, hurt and heart ache, and trapped by the desire for what was.......

"
Resonate sentiments,
gentle hums of happiness,
still water mirror,
I see the boy within,
times of wonder,
child like magic.

Free from want,
free from desires snare,
free of toils and cares,

Settled dust as virgin snow,
memories light warms a healing heart.

Love is no longer a dirty word,
not even the threat of the end
can take me away from pools of reflection,

Evening mourning has given way
to Joy's morning,
good bye to that which held captive,
a new day dawns,
I walk in its light of revelation....

My bf died when a 72,000 volt power line got tangled in the beam.
He was 18. I still have hard nights thinking, occasionally.
Those memories remain for a purpose.
You're doing well.
Venting is healing...Joy is helping (wink)
