The Real YouA Poem by Angie Diane♥♥
Don't tell me you love me,
When in fact you know you don't, It hurts me on the inside, Yet you continue to lie, You tell people you are there for me, When I know you aren't, People ask if I'm okay, But honestly I'm not, You just sit there with a straight face, So no one could the real you, You show me that side everyday, But when you tell me you love me, I can see the disgust, When we kiss, I can taste the hate that you spout, When can you tell me the truth, Show them the the real you, Instead of hiding from them, You just don't want them to see the type of person you are, But sweetie I know what type you are, Thank you for being real with me, But not with others, I honestly can't deal with that type of person, So I know who to trust and who not to. © 2012 Angie Diane♥♥Author's Note
