A Little Romance with a Stare.

I wrote this at work....boy do I have somewhat of a dirty mind there. .-.

Silently she waits,
For her lover to come,
Her pale blue eyes,
Look longingly without him,
Waiting for his return,
To brighten her eyes once more,
When he comes up to the door,
She jumps up happily,
Jumping all about,
He smiles in pleasure,
That makes her smile,
She kisses him for a while,
They slowly start to get out of hand,
With all the kissing and touching,
When they finally start to settle,
Sleeping sound,
As if nothing happened,
But they didn't notice that we are all around.

I think this is more romantic than it is dirty, but if we see the sexual acts then it is definitely dirty.

A romantic poem that paints a picture. I like to tell the good and the bad in my reviews, the only bad thing I could think to say of this is it's a little cliche, but that's hard to avoid with poetry. Overall good poem

Ha ha, cute! Definitely more romantic than dirty...but then again there is noting wrong with a little "dirty" when it comes to sex/love making. Love this!

Not that dirty Angie! This is romantic, and lovely. Sex, as it should be had, is a romantic act between two people with a connection. I think this poem captures that ecstasy of romance that can get out of hand no matter how old the lovers are, no matter where they are, no matter how they do it!

I like that they didn't notice because they were so enthralled in their love that we all disappeared. That's what made this poem romantic and you're right if you had included the act it wouldn't be so much romantic as it would be risqué. Good job.
