I love the song, but it is not based off the song.

The words in the notebook were what she wanted to say,
She wanted to tell him how she felt,
She didn't think of anything,
She left it unwritten until it was to late,
He was already in the hands of another girl,
She shouldn't have kept the words unwritten,
She should have wrote them,
Then she wouldn't be having this hurt,
She left them unwritten,
That was her foolish mistake.
