What Hurts Roanoke the Most?

My song based off the song What Hurts the Most...for History class. People told me it was funny, but it really isn't.

Verse 1: Roanoke can't take the location of their empty houses.

They were in Virginia in 1657 to make money for England.

They can take their founder Raleigh.

They were afraid to die everyday.

Even though they were trying to live there.

There were days every now and again they could make it through.

That's what gets them.

Was living on Roanoke Island disappearing from the Earth.

Never knowing there life would end.

And not seeing that missing them is what John White was trying to do.

Verse 2: It's hard to deal with all the people that disappeared.

But, they're doing it.

It's hard to forger all of those people that lost their lives.

Still harder getting up and getting dressed remembering they disappeared.

Living with their regret.

But, they know they will do it over.

They will trade for their lives to find those people because they were left unheard of.
