Don't You Remember?

Don't You Remember?

A Poem by Angie Diane♥♥

Don't you remember,
When you told me you loved me?
I remember because those words came from you.
Don't you remember,
The smile that turned the world upside down?
That smile was for me and I really loved seeing it.
Don't you remember,
Holding me in your arms?
I still feel your arms holding me tight.
Don't you remember,
Rubbing my hair as we were laying together?
You couldn't stop rubbing my hair and messed it up in the end.
That made me smile when we both started laughing at it.
Don't you remember,
The first time you saw me?
It was the best day of both of our lives.
Don't you remember,
When you told me you loved me?
Because I remember when those words came from you.
I love you, darling.

Nice poem. Very peaceful and sweet. I know someone feels this...

I'm in a similar situation, so I probably feel the emotion in this better than most.
I love this, it sounds angry yet depressed at once, and flows nicely. great job ♥
