Even through depression,
I can smile.
Even through depression,
I can laugh.
Even through depression,
I can sing joyfully.
Even through depression,
I can be somewhat happy.
Even through depression,
I can be very lonely,
Though some people are there for me.
Even through depression,
I strive to do my best.
Even through depression,
I try not to cry,
Though that is hard to do.
Even through depression,
I try to be happy,
But as you can see it doesn't work.
Even through depression,
I try to tell myself I'm beautiful,
Though I never feel I am.
Even through depression,
There is a happy spirit in there somewhere,
Though I can't find it.
Even through depression,
I try to talk to you happily,
But it's always unsuccessful.
Even through depression,
I can hold you lovingly,
Though I never want to.
Even through depression,
I try to help you with yours though I already have my own.
Even through depression,
I love you,
Though I don't even love myself.
Even through depression,
I keep myself alive.
Even through depression,
I will always be concerned for you.
Even through depression,
I can have hope.

Captured depression of a caring person wonderfully:)

Very emotional.
I love the way its set up, the repetition works very well.
And its great to see into the depression for other people.
The ending is quite cute and touching.

awww. at first it was hard to keep reading but by the end it was better. i dont really like when poems repeat things over and over and over.....over again, but this was alrite... i dont want to sound mean but thats just my opinion. keep it up! nice job! and DONT BE DEPRESSED!
