What He Told Me

My heart pounds in my chest,

He said I love you.

Even after being away from each other for months.

I thought he was lying.

He didn't love me in the beginning.

Now he is telling me this out of spite for me.

"I love you."

Why would he say that to me?

Even after breaking up he says it.

He has a girlfriend as well.
I don't know what to do because I don't know if I like anyone.

Don't tell me you love me unless your being serious.

I don't need this because love is just useless when in high school...

I am done, but now I have to think....

Do I love him back?

Or do I like someone else?

I don't think love should ever fade... I really think its eternal. So if a guy tells you he loves you, but can't show it in the long run, he probably doesn't understand what LOVING someone actually means.
