The End-Chapter 5

Chapter 5

    "Angela, please don't get into a fight," Kevin said. He could see the fire in her eyes. He didn't like the look she was giving off.
    "Let me up," Angela responded struggling. She still wanted to punch Brittany in the face for hitting Timmy. He was a three-year-old and she was seventeen years of age. In Angela's eyes that was child abuse. She knew she would never hit Tim or Adrian. She would never leave a bruise on them or put her hands on them. Well she would hug them, but that was beside the point. She never wanted Brittany to touch Tim again. She wanted to teach Brittany a lesson that it was not okay to hit her child and get away with it.
    "No, I won't let you up because I don't want you to fight. You are a sweet, sensitive person and I don't want to see you get your butt kicked," he said. She laughed when she heard what he just said. She was a sweet person, but she could hold her own in a fight. She had beat the crap out of one girl before when she was thirteen. She only did that because the girl was talking about her behind her back. She was friends with the girl too and that is why they had a problem. She didn't like to talk behind people's backs.
    "I won't get hurt," she said. He just gave her an incredulous look. She wasn't even going to tell the story of what happened between her and her friend. She knew that after she beat the crap out of the girl; she was afraid of her. She had the right to be afraid of her though she got her butt kicked. The girl thought that she stood a chance with Angela and lost. She didn't know that Angela was a good fighter.
    "How do you know that," he asked.
    "I know how strong I am," she said.
    "I'm still not going to let you up," he said. She was glaring at him because she didn't want to not get a chance to "talk" to Brittany.
    "Please, just let me up," she said.
    "What if one of the boys saw you hitting Brittany," he asked.
    "They are sleeping. I just want to "talk" to Brittany anyways," she said giving him a reassuring smile. She was going to punch her if she needed to, but she didn't know if she needed to yet. Angela smiled at him when he helped her up. She went to go check on the boys before she went into Brittany's room.
    "I will watch them this time," Kevin said with a defeated look on his face. He didn't want her to get hurt, but since he didn't know her. He didn't know what he was capable of. No one in this whole building knew what she was like. They only knew that she was good with children and very loving. She is very protective over the children and she is defensive when she needed to be.
    "Thank you so much," Angela said and kissed him on the cheek. She was going to trust him to watch the children this time because she could tell that she could trust him. She wanted to be able to trust someone in the building. She didn't want to have no one to trust in the house.

I think you should do a chapter where everyone meets and talks with each other. Besides Kevin, and now Brittney, everyone else is unheard of. I really like this book so far though. Its really interesting. I hope Britteny gets her butt whooped.
