Ending

This is old. I just never added it

Knife in hand,

Blood running down,

I am kicked out,

My world is crushed,

My heart is mended,

I feel the pain,

I feel the knife in my skin,

Digging deep and blood still running,

My heart still beating until the end of time.

I feel this poem is not about how one feels dead even after being alive, and how one tries to deal with the pain by cutting oneself up. I might be wrong, but thats the way I feel, as if its on the verge of killing oneself, being already dead inside. We feel repaired only by damaging ourselves physically. Thanks for sharing

i like the thought behind this poem, although it doesn't really make any sense to me. Like, if your heart is mended, why are you still feeling pain? I realize this is old. i have a lot of old poems too, from when i wasn't as experienced. I would really love to see some editing done to it. i know you could really turn it into something! :)

A tale of suicide is truly and common theme. With this writing though you made it your own. Everyone knows what happens in suicide but people rarly think of what the person is feeling or thinking. With this short poem you show what some maybe feeling and thinking. Great job.
