Right In Front of Me

Right In Front of Me

A Poem by Angie Diane♥♥

I watched her mother,
Hit her in front of me,
Every single day,
I would feel really bad for her,
I couldn't stop it,
I really wish I could,
I hate seeing people hurt,
Even though she's hurt me,
She didn't deserve to get hurt,
Right in front of me,
Her mother hit her with a shoe,
Just because she was wearing make-up.
I felt really horrible for her,
Because she is still so young,
Her brother has the same fate,
I may not see her anymore,
But I am kind of worried about her,
I'm sorry this happened to her,
She got hit,
Right in front of me.

I understand all of your pain. I went through this too. Good job

good stuff. the message is plain and simple, delivered in straightforward honest fashion like a boxer's one-two. i like it. watch your commas, otherwise good.

I like the idea behind this, and I like the repetition, but I feel like you should add a little more. Good work though :)

This did a good job exhibiting the helplessness of the situation and empathy for the subject.

It's sad to see acts like that happen to other people. I thought this was a very good poem, I like that although you don't get to see her anymore, you still worry and care. Very Good
