The End-Chapter 6

Chapter 6

    "I'll be right back. Just make sure you stay in the room with them," she said to Kevin and kissed him on the cheek again. He blushed the second time she did that. She was just thanking him for  being friendly and watching the kids.
    "Anytime," he said and smiled. She was really happy and she picked Adrian up.  He wasn't sleeping anymore because he kept having bad dreams. He was trying to get Angela to stay in the room. Tim was still sleeping though and Angela was happy about that.
    "What's wrong, honey," she asked to Adrian. He was wiggling in her arms, but her buried his head in her chest. He had always wiggled when and buried his head in her chest when he was scared or upset. Angela had almost dropped him once. This was back when he was two years old. After that she couldn't hold him for a while. She was so scared that she was going to drop her little brother. He would be screaming because his Aunt would be the one holding him. Angela calmed him down by letting him see her face. He would hold his hands out to her crying and she couldn't look at him. She would start crying because she couldn't stand to see her brother cry.
    "Please don't leave me, Mommy. Please don't leave me," he said to Angela and he was crying. She hugged him close to her. She was worried about Adrian and Kevin could see that in her eyes. She sat down on the bed next to Tim. She rubbed Adrian's  hair and he was still crying. It was still hard on her because he was so young.
    "Adrian, I will never leave you. I love you so much and besides you are my little brother. You are the best thing that has happened in my life. I will always love you. I have let someone else into my life because I couldn't let him die. Did you want Tim to die," she asked her younger brother. She knew that this was going towards Adrian's jealousy. She knew that Adrian was thinking that Tim was replacing him.
    "No, Mommy," he said.  
    "He is a good friend to you right?"
    "Yes, Mommy." He still had his head buried in his chest. Angela just sighed and she rubbed his back. She knew that she wouldn't be able to "talk"  to Brittany when her brother was awake.
    "Honey, did you have a nightmare," she asked him.
    "Yes, mommy," he said.
    "Awe, honey. Do you want to talk about it," she asked him.
    "No, because it might come true," he said and clinging to her.
    "Honey, that will never happen. Please tell me," she pleaded with her little brother. She didn't want him to be traumatized.
    "Fine!"
    "Adrian, why did you snap like that?"
    "Shut up your voice is getting on my nerves," Adrian said and got out of his sisters arms. He went into the bathroom. He was still crying though. Angela was so sad that her younger brother just snapped at her. She finally was able to go into Brittany's room to "talk" to her though.
    Angela had to wait because she was really upset with her brother snapping and all. She got up and you could see the hurt in her eyes. She had never seen her younger brother snap at her.
    "Are you okay," Kevin asked her. He was worried that she was going to do something stupid. He had saw the cuts on her wrist, but he didn't want to say anything to her in front of the other two. Kevin was upset about it though he barely knew her. He had a friend from bleeding to death because of it. Kevin didn't know what to say when Angela wept in his arms. He never thought he would see her cry this much.
    "I'm sorry for crying this much," she said.
    "It's okay, Angela," he said. Adrian had come into the room after he heard his sister stopped crying. He did feel bad for snapping, but he just didn't want to tell her about the nightmare he had all day. The same one that kept running through his head all day.
    "Mommy, I'm so sorry I made you cry. I am really sorry," he said while crying himself. Angela picked him up and hugged him.
    "It's okay, honey. I love you," she said.
    "I love you too, Mommy."
    "Honey, I will be right back. Can you be good for Kevin for me," she asked.
    "Yes, Mommy," he said.
    "Okay, I'll be back in ten minutes," she said to both of them. She was happy that Tim stayed asleep for the whole time. She walked out of the room to go "talk" to the girl Brittany that hit her son.

Whoa, that boy has a fiesty side, LOL, he's not as sweet as he seems. But I do feel bad- he's upset, and the world ending is a good excuse to be :) I hope everything works out.
