This how I heard about his death...not a long story..

I was sitting in my parents room because I recorded a program that I was watching. I was having a good time. Then Gabby handed me a phone telling me that it was Maddy calling. Maddy was my sister's friend. She was a nice person though so I was surprised that she wanted to talk to me.
"Hello," I said into the phone.
"Do you know Cory?"
"Yes, he is in my grade and he is my friend," I responded.
"He died last night," she said. Then we hung up. I was upset, but then I got a call from my parents. So I told them the news. They didn't believe me at first, but then they saw his obituary in the paper the next day...I had spent most of the night up because I couldn't sleep. He died so young and it was a scary thought...
