Tan Eyed Girl

Tan Eyed Girl

A Poem by Angie Diane♥♥

Tan eyed girl,

With bronze skin,

I see your hurting,

Your tan eyes filled with tears,

I see that you were crying,

Though you are not really a human,

You are like a puppet,

Tan eyed girl,

Please stop crying,

I can’t stand to see you,

Crying that much,

Tan eyed girl,

Your nails are cutting into your skin,

It is around your eyes all the cuts.

Tan eyed girl,

Please stop,

I love you.

Very dark. I think the repetition, along with your spoecific diction, helps brings out the sincerity of the situation. Kind of feels like you're watching someone, or even yourself, tear themselves to pieces...

This was a rather nice description of someone that Is watching another or that they are speaking of themselves.
