Gunned Down

Gunned Down

A Poem by Angie Diane♥♥

I went to the bank,
And shot up the place,
To steal all the money,
I have no expression written on my face,
All the people are cowering in the corners,
Not understanding what I have gone through,
In the past,
I was gunned down,
By the police,
But I never had done anything,
Just in the wrong place,
At the wrong time,
Here I am at the bank,
Trying to get back at what they did,
Knowing I would only get chased,
And gunned down again,
Maybe I would die this time,
Like I wanted to all this time,
I don't want to bear the pain,
And there is so much strain,
Finally I run,
And then they finally got me,
And again I was gunned down,
But I survived again,
Now I'm in jail.
