I'd Stand Up for You

I'd stand up for you,
Would you stand up for me?
Or do I have to defend myself?
Though I'd put my life on the line for you,
Yet you may not do the same for me,
What kind of friend are you?
I guess they would say,
A liar,
'Cause you promised me you would back me up,
But did you?
No, you didn't.
And now you're in your own battle,
And you expect me to,
Stick up for you,
No, you can get hit with a baseball bat for all I care.
Better yet you can get hit with a 2x4.
Oh wait so much better,
Get stabbed by a switchblade,
Gosh that must have really hurt,
Since your crying like a baby.
I'd stand up for you,
But would you stand up for me?

I thought this was very clear in its emotions, but you should do something about the ending. Maybe show more of what you're thinking, or what you think the other person is thinking, I just feel like the poem ends a little too quickly. Otherwise, really good work hun
