Thoughts: On the Song She's Out of my Life

So I've learned that love's not possession

                This is from a song by Michael Jackson. The song is called She’s Out of my Life and it is a very beautiful song. The reason I chose this quote to write about was because it is true. People need to know and learn that love isn’t possession. People in everyday life need to learn this early. You can learn from other people’s mistake. People also need to learn that love won’t wait. And it does need expression. You learn that the hard way. And learning late will have consequences.

                As I was listening to this song it got me to thinking. You can be very concerned about a person yet they don’t really care for you. They don’t want to have to do anything with you. You show your concern and love for them, but they don’t want that. They just turn on you in the ending though you love them dearly. You lose them and then you can’t move you.

                In the song you can hear that Michael Jackson is very sincere in the way he is singing it. Maybe you can tell that he really loves this girl. She left him because he was very cavalier. Do you know what cavalier means? It means haughty or knight. In the song he meant haughty. He learned later on as the words above that he shouldn’t have been like that.

                Being in his shoes would you learn the same thing? I have learned this and I really need to follow it. So does everyone else in this world. I love how Michael Jackson expressed it in the song. You need to teach your kids this when they are little. Or they will have a bitter love life. Tell them to express their love for the other person. Don’t posses them or control them. That means you are in an abusive relationship. Who wants to be in that? No one wants to be in that. Please listen to the song it is a very beautiful one. :)
