Why Lie?

Why Lie?

A Poem by Angie Diane♥♥

How are you going to sit there and lie?
Tell the truth you won't get in trouble,
They won't believe me anyway,
I know some people forgive me,
First you admitted to it,
Then you deny it,
Why lie?
Can't you just tell the truth.
Don't sit there and lie to her face.
Don't deny what you had done.
What you forced me to do.
Why lie?
It's not like anyone is going to hurt you.
When you tried again,
I defended myself,
I will never be weak like that again.
So why lie to her face?
She already knows the truth,
I told her.
Who do you think she will believe?
Me or you?
I think you know the answer to that,
So why lie?
I think you should tell the truth.
